Since 1966, VitrA has been closely involved with the Eczacıbaşı Sports Club, which has trained some of Turkey’s top athletes. The club is currently focused on its record-breaking women’s volleyball team, which has won 27 National Championships and five National Cups. In the 2010-2011 season, VitrA took on a more active role as a name sponsor, changing the name of the team to Eczacıbaşı VitrA.
